    Leadership Team

    Rizwan Bukhari

    Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

    With a strong background in policing and public service, Rizwan leads ICOPD College with a clear vision for discipline, structure, and opportunity. His leadership ensures that the college operates with integrity, transparency, and a student-first approach.

    Quality & Compliance

    Dr Lawrence Watson

    Head of Compliance and Quality Assurance

    Dr. Watson brings vast experience in maintaining high standards across the education sector. He ensures our programmes meet all regulatory requirements and that students benefit from consistent, high-quality teaching and support. His expertise is essential in driving excellence across the college.

    After holding teaching positions at Durham University and Birmingham City University, Lawrence joined the founding team at the University of Buckingham—the UK’s first independent, government-unfunded chartered university. He spent sixteen years there as one of the administrative deans. He later moved to Northumbria University, where he played a key role in expanding its international engagement, helping it become one of the most globally active universities in the UK.

    Following this, Lawrence established his own consultancy firm. He currently serves on the Quality and Standards Committee of UK ENIC (formerly UK NARIC), the national agency responsible for the recognition and comparability of international qualifications. Since 2006, he has been actively involved with the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC), which now operates in approximately 75 countries. He serves ASIC as both Chief Inspector and Qualifications Adviser.

    In addition, Lawrence is the current Chair of the Education Committee at Learning Resource Network (LRN), a UK awarding body regulated by Ofqual and recipient of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2020.

    Chris Mabika

    Director of Studies

    Chris is responsible for overseeing all academic programmes and ensuring students receive a high-quality educational experience. With a deep understanding of curriculum design and student engagement, he plays a key role in shaping our learning

    With a medical background and a strong commitment to healthcare education, Dr. Khezran leads our medical and health-related courses. Her focus is on delivering up-to-date, industry-relevant content that prepares students for meaningful careers in the healthcare sector.

    Operations Manager

    Semida ensures the day-to-day running of the college is smooth, efficient, and student-focused. From facilities to administration, she oversees the systems and processes that keep everything running behind the scenes — ensuring a seamless experience for both staff and students.
